Due to the Ca/Ca expanded metal technology, the self-discharge is significantly lower compared to conventional hybrid/ammonium/acid batteries. The user can enjoy very good cold start behaviour. Due to the low self-discharge, long storage times are possible without recharging. MW PARTS starter batteries are designed as a closed system and are therefore absolutely maintenance-free according to EN standards. Neither the dealer, contractor or farmer need to top up with water. The batteries are resistant due to the polypropylene housing and absorb road vibrations without any problems. The lead-calcium grids used have increased conductivity and corrosion resistance.
